Charles is the Cofounder & CEO at Structur3D Printing, working to grow the soft materials market in 3D printing. His interest in 3D printing began in 2007 when he started his PhD. He sees great market opportunities in new materials for 3D printing.

Charles was looking for new challenges when he decided to switch his career from software development to science. He obtained a MSc in applied physics, and a PhD in chemistry. For his PhD project, he built a custom 3D printer for printing with soft materials like conducting polymers and biopolymers. He founded Structur3D Printing in 2013 to pursue 3D printing further. Since then, Structur3D Printing has been recognized worldwide for pushing the boundaries of 3D printing with soft materials.
