A former recipient of the Trader's Magazine's "Women on Wall Street TrailBlazer Mentor Award" and in 2015 she was named in Institutional Investor magazine's "Trading Technology 40," a list of the top technology innovators in the financial services industries.

In her current role, Bina identifies disruptive technology trends, drives sourcing and screening of new strategic financial technology investments, and collaborates and partners with each line of business in GBAM and GBAM partners to identify and review strategic financial technology platforms. Previously, she was head of Equities Strategic Direct Investments and head of Global FICC e-Trading Market Structure Strategy at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Bina co-founded NetProphets, a start-up company involved with incubating proprietary and client business plans in Australia and India.
